Regional Executive Chef

As a Levy Regional Executive Chef, it will be your primary responsibility to create “The Levy Difference” with cuisine that exceeds the guests’ expectations and to provide strong leadership while delivering cost goals and living our vision and values. You will be responsible for delivering culinary standards that live up to our renowned reputation by establishing standards for menu content, ensuring execution of menu content, and establishing and maintaining show quality and presentation standards. Operations
• Partners with Purchasing department and location chefs to achieve maximum sales growth through product selection, execution and pricing
• Partners with location chefs to develop strategies to achieve food and labor prime costs
• Implements, maintains and audits all locations in Region to ensure the Levy Core Signature standards for all food-related and purchasing programs are in compliance at all times
• Executes innovative recipe development and refinement
• Understands, trains and maintains compliance of all Levy financial control systems and BOSS
• Ensures full compliance and execution of all Home Office initiatives, procedures and standards
• Supports Region with any major event or function
• Ensures that all sanitation and safety standards are being met throughout Region Controls
• Partners with Division President and Regional Operations Team to anticipate and fulfill client/partner needs, ensuring long-term contract stability and business growth
• Partners with Marketing department to enhance creative development to achieve maximum sales growth in new facilities as well as upgrade existing businesses
• Consistently strives to provide creative and innovative ideas to culinary program
• Participates in creative implementation and sales presentations for new business development Team
• Builds and maintains a strong relationship with clients and internal guests
• Trains and develops all chefs within Region on Levy Core Signature standards and culinary expertise
• Uses succession planning standards to develop a database for Region to include sous chef, executive sous chef, and executive chef candidates
• Participates in the hiring and development of all chefs within Region, ensuring the culinary standards within the Region live up to “The Levy Difference”
• Promotes a cooperative, team building work environment that maximizes productivity and morale within Region
• Ensures that all chefs within Region have the proper culinary tools to deliver “The Levy Difference” Required Qualifications
• Degree or training in Culinary Arts, Hospitality or related field, or culinary certificate preferred.
• At least two (2) years holding an Executive Chef position.
• Seven (7) + years of culinary experience
• High volume, complex food service operations experience Required Skills
• Creative problem-solver who brings passion, enthusiasm and fresh ideas.
• Proven track record of being organized, dependable and self-motivated.
• Team builder and ability to successfully manage and develop a team.
• Able to work independently and have the capacity to manage up and down.
• Ability to work 60 + hours per week (as needed).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, evening, weekends and holidays.
