We are looking for a Lead Line Cook to join our exceptional team, We are a fish-forward restaurant inspired by Nikkei and Japanese cuisine and committed to sustainability. Applicants should have a working knowledge of current food trends.
The Lead Line is responsible for assisting our Kitchen Sous Chef in overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area of our restaurant. Lead Line directs staff, purchases food and stock, and makes sure all staff is trained on proper food preparation and kitchen safety techniques. This applicant must be reliable and have flexible availability.
-Culinary and management experience
-Strong leadership skills
-Texas Food Handlers Management certificate
-Excellent problem solving skills
-Capacity to multitask
-Spanish speaking is a plus
