Line Cook, Prep Cook and Dishwasher.

Established Restaurant seeking Experienced Line Cook, Prep Cook and Dishwasher for hire!

The qualified candidate must be a motivated self-starter, organizational skills, and technique driven. Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, ensure smooth service operations and quality service. Applicants must possess a strong dedication toward learning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities-
Must be able to work cleanly, efficiently, with respect for quality ingredients and careful attention to preparation.
responsible for all preparation in work station
work with chef to develop specials or menu for the day
know or learn all ingredients used at the restaurant

Requirements- 2+ years in Line Cook Position
experience in high volume production
experience with seafood is a plus
experience in grill or sautee station
must be able to learn/follow all recipes/cooking techniques
ability to work long hours
strong work ethic
desire to be challenged
experience in working with high quality meats, fish and produce
culinary degree a plus
Must Have Food Handlers Card
Able to understand food service safety and sanitation requirements
Experience in the food service industry preferred
Able to lift up to 20lbs., constant standing and reaching require
Ability to effectively communicate in English, Spanish is a PLUS!
Willing and able to adapt to changes in kitchen routine at any given time
Must have basic knowledge of state regulations and health laws.
Able to follow up and multi-task
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the service needs of our residents, this can include weekend shifts.
