What We Do

Cane Rosso is known for serving the most authentic Italian food, and wood-fired pizzas in Texas, all baked to perfection in less than 90 seconds in our wood-fired ovens. We make fresh dough, mozzarella, toppings, dressings, and more in-house every single day at all restaurant locations.

We love dogs, so all Cane Rosso patios are dog-friendly, and well-behaved canines are invited to join the party. If you dig dogs as we do, check out our available adoptees at the CRR shelter and canerossorescue.org

Our company’s reason for existing is quite simple: to build a people-focused, philanthropic, ever-expanding food-service organization that positively impacts every guest that we serve, every employee we work with, and every dog that we save!

You ensure that food comes out at the same time for each party, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
You readily follow nutrition and sanitation regulations and you always preach company safety standards.

You maintain our quality standards and consistency of the food by complying with sanitation standards, keeping your Food Handler certification current, attending safety meetings, and participating in useful industry or company events.

Qualifications

We require cooking experience with at least two (2) years of proven experience as a professional line cook in a busy, chef-led concept kitchen restaurant. (Unfortunately, working in a fast-food/fast-casual atmosphere does not qualify for this role.)
We hire pizza makers with restaurant kitchen experience, so you don’t have to be pro in pizza prep to apply. Previous experience managing a wood-fired oven is beneficial and can help qualify you for a higher rate of pay but we’ll train the right people.

Ideally, you have open, part-time availability and you’re able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
You have a willingness to learn and dedication to serving the best quality product.
You work well with others and work well under pressure (our restaurants get busy).
You have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. You are well-versed in a variety of kitchen station operations, you are adept at following recipes, and you exhibit accuracy and speed when completing assigned tasks.
You show promise of leadership abilities, creativity, and dedication to excellence. If you are bilingual in English and Spanish, you may have a leg up on the competition.

Pay & Benefits

We pay well. If you’re a skilled and experienced cook, you can expect to start between $12-15 per hour. Pizza Makers can expect to start between $13 – 16 per hour (dependent on skills). Inexperienced pizza makers typically start between $10 -12.50 per hour.
The best part of all, this role comes with potential growth opportunities for the right person, who shows great work ethic.
We offer all full-time hourly associates the opportunity to participate in affordable group benefits plans including medical, dental, vision, AD&D and life insurance.
You get to wear relaxed work uniforms, aka Cane Rosso t-shirts, you receive a free shift meal each and every shift, and you get 50% food discounts on your days off.
We’ll provide opportunities for advancement in this restaurant, other restaurants, new cities, multiple restaurants, and new concepts under development.
