Looking for a strong person to help lead our on-site BOH team.
A dynamic and growing catering company is seeking prep cooks, line cooks, and event chefs!
We are a new, quickly growing, catering company in the heart of Oakland. As a cook, both in the kitchen and onsite, we expect that you have proficient culinary skills and be personable with our clients and co-workers. You will report directly to the executive chef. The job is hourly and may be a mix of prep and event work.
We focus primarily on rustic-chic cuisine – using local, sustainable, and seasonal ingredients. Check out some of our sample menus and design aesthetics at metalandmatch.com.
Qualities that we are looking for:

– excellent kitchen skills (technique, working cleanly, quickly, safely)
– good hygiene
– experience in restaurant and catering is a plus
